usb extension cables any issues?

Anyone use usb extension cables for push, beause the the cable is too damn short....any problems when you use them like latency or something?

I have Push connected to my computer which is in another small machine room with a 3 metre long cable. No problems. I think 5 metres is about the max.

ok thanks.....umm are you actually using an extension or just a 3 metre long cable from the pc to the push. like you replaced the cord that comes with push with another one that has usb on one end and the push connector on the other

Yes, just a long cable straight into the computer, like the one that comes with Push. I've also used Push with a powered USB hub on the end of a long cable with no problems. Also my Mackie Universal with a 3 metre cable plus about a 1 metre extension.

like this cable right? is there a name for the type of cable cause i dont want to plug the wrong type into push and ruin it. the link above that looks like the same cable...yea?

Yes, just a long cable straight into the computer, like the one that comes with Push.

so you can buy a replacement cord for the push then...you dont need an extension?
