2 Questions: ShowDeviceSlots and multi Midi editing

Hi there

I got 2 questions:

1)
I have enabled the secret option "ShowDeviceSlots" in "Options.txt" to show the names of all devices in a channel when in session view.

Good idea (this should be enabled by default I think). However, why is it not possible to double click on the device name to open the device like it is common in every other DAW? Did I miss something?


2)
While editing a midi notes, is it possible to see midi notes of other tracks in the same window? Bitwig, Reaper and Presonus got this very helpful feature but I could not find out, if this is possible in Live 9.

No, because they never finished the programming of it. That's why they left it as an option.txt only thing.
Why?! Who knows

2: No can do (except somewhat in Arrangement)
