Volume Problems

Post by alisonnixon » Mon Sep 08, 2014 3:51 am

Hi,
I am a choir director, and use
Live 8, for recording accompaniment parts which I then use to accompany the choir while I am rehearsing them. Recently, for no obvious reason, I am having volume problems. To get almost any volume at all, I have to turn up the volume on each track all the way, and on my computer, and on the speakers.
Then when I have the metronome on, it is Waaayyy too loud !
I must have in some way changed the volume controls, but I don't have a clue what i have done.
is anyone able to help me.
thanks,.
one seriously frustrated choir director!!!! :x

I am not sure what you did wrong, but I know how you can temporarily fix it. Under your master fader you have a "Que" nob, it is a blue nob with a headphones logo under it. If the nob is not immediately there click the small "M" button on the right bottom side of the screen. This "Que" nob will control the volume of the headphones.

For the tracks being quiet, you can just boost the signals for now. Go to the audio effects, and select "Utility," then adjust the gain as needed on each track. Hope this helped!!
