It's the combination of the mountain man beard with the dudebro haircut that's the real problem. It makes it seem like it's all the more an ironic gesture rather than a legit look that you own. Like the haircut is an escape plan in case they need to shave the beard real quick when that executive position at Hobby Lobby opens up.
