I got Yosemite os x... Ended up not liking it as much as my old operating system(mountain lion), so I restored mountain lion with time machine, and all sorts of software doesn't work. Does anyone know a way to work around this mechanic of restoring and getting this error? How do i do a complete uninstall of ableton? Will that work?

I have tried contacting ableton customer support but they are being a little laggy. Maybe they will come through though, ableton has never let me down yet...

Im guesing that you should be good with a reinstall, because it's probably due to corrupt application files instead of corrupt preferences.

Try that either/or repair disk permissions fron disc utility first.
