The number one reason I search forums is to find answers to problems I'm having. Why on earth would anyone close a help thread? At any rate, I find Ableton Live to be the most unoptimized DAW out there and it would be extremely helpful to have a help thread. I have been using Logic and Bitwig over the past year or so and just recently returned to using Live (9 64bit). As soon as I stepped back into Live I started getting audio drop outs with the CPU useage at a measly 30%. The HD isn't a problem since its an SSD. In Logic and even bitwig I get 10-20 times as many instruments going before running into issues. I have always had live give me problems but usually it was when I reached about 60-70%. For me this is unusable and would like to know if anyone else is having these issues and if so how did you resolve them?

That was a long hiatus. That didn't happen yesterday. Just drop that part about the help thread BLAH BLAH — That's a proper name when asking for help you think? — and realize that users help other users in these forums, certainly in "Music Production", and at ableton.com/answers, general help at ableton.com/en/help/ as well as support from Live's Help menu. There are already several discussions on this subject. I suggest you use the search function that, you know, allows for making searches.Bhang wrote:The number one reason I search forums is to find answers to problems I'm having. So repost your questions to music production. That's what's most people are doing. Unless you main purpose was to whine here? If so, don't let me stop you.
