Live 9.1.7 & APC40 LED color change

Post by Lanman.CZ » Tue Jan 20, 2015 5:41 pm

Hello,
is it please still possible to change led colors on apc40 ? I mean the color of playing clips mainly. I have trouble to distinguish between standby and playing clips. In past versions I used to be able to easily change the color of playing clips to red by editing the apc40.py file but it seems that in a recent update the whole structure of the apc40 remote script got changed and that color section is no longer present in the ap40.py file :

It seems to me that a lot of the common functions got consolidated into the framework. So is it please still possible to change the playing clip color to red just on my apc40 (I got Push too but I'd like to change just apc40)? I'm not all that familiar with writing remote scripts so before I start messing things up I though I'd rather ask here hoping it's going to be some simple tweak of the apc40.py file again.

edit: One more thing since I already opened a thread about this :-)
Is is please possible to change the bank button functionality on apc40 (you know those 4 arrow buttons that move that red box around) to move by a whole page by default in all directions ? It would be so much more convenient not to have to hold shift to do this (and holding shift might move just by one line, essentially swapping the functionality).

If anyone is interested - the way to do the color change in the new script format is to modify the SkinDefault.py in the _APC framework folder. The color functions got consolidated there for all APCs.
