using a USB hub with Push

I hear that it's best to plug in your Push directly to your PC. But I have a macbook pro with only 2 USB ports. One of them is dedicated to my audio interface and the other is connected to a hub so that I can use other devices. Anybody out there connecting their Push to a USB hub? How's that working out?

I have no problems at all with my USB hub ... I checked feedback at amazon and got one that's supposed to be OK. I have an NI Ultimate disk, an USB soundcard and an NI komplete kontrol keyboard connected to the very same Hub

Running AL on a MacBook too
MacBookPro, OSX 10.11.4, Ableton 9.6.2b, Max 7.2.1 both 64bit
