Maschine 2.2.3 dropping patterns into Live issue

Anyone using Maschine 2.2.3 and having issues dropping patterns into Live?
Every since the upgrade it is not dropping all the sounds in the pattern when I drag it over.
Lets say I have 7 sounds in a pattern, it will only bring over 5-6.

Any ideas as to what is going on?

I’m using Maschine in Logic and there is a number of ways to put audio or MIDI into the arrangement. You didn’t say audio or MIDI, but I noticed when I exported the audio from a pattern to individual stems for each pad it sometimes didn’t make a stem, like the kick drum was missing. I then noticed on the export box there is an arrow next to the pattern name and when you click it, it shows each pad with a box to select or unselect for export. In this case the kick drum pad wasn’t selected. Once selected it worked.

Not sure, but that individual pad selection method might also affect dragging and dropping the entire MIDI pattern or audio file into Live. I have no idea why it would omit something like the kick drum by default. Maybe its a bug.

I am exporting (stems from a pattern in a drum kit) In this instance, the Lucid Mission expansion kit.
The drag and drop was flawless until the update.
This driving me nuts.
7 sounds/stems in this pattern and when I drag and drop, only 6 come over.

Sounds like the same issue I was having. Maybe instead of drag and drop try the export method I mentioned, accessed through the file menu. Then you should be able to choose which pad stems to export. Then drag those from whichever folder you saved them to into Live. Extra steps but it should solve the problem.

I don't mind the extra step, as long at it works.

I can import the sounds of the pattern back into Ableton, but they are not separated out of course.
At least it is something.
But I am wondering what the heck changed with version 2.2.3 in Maschine.
I never had any issues before.
And I am trying to figure out why the whole drag and drop thing now leaves out some sounds.
Additionally now, one of my expansion packs is gone.
I got rid of all the db files from the Maschine 2 folder, so it could reset itself, but that issue is now secondary to this drag and drop dilemma.
My Ableton is flawless, I cannot say the same for Maschine. Although I do love the Maschine Studio hardware.
Maybe reinstall Maschine?

Hm, not at home to check but using the export option from the file menu there is probably an option if you want to export the whole pattern as a single file or the stems.

I’m thinking once you set that up for stems and make sure all the pads you want are included then it will also include all those in drag and drop. It’s probably something they overlooked in coding the update or they may even need to update the expansion packs.

I had an odd behavior with MIDI, at least in Logic. When I did the drag and drop option for MIDI it made a separate track for every pad and not being routed to Maschine. Didn’t explore beyond that because I’m fine with the audio files. But this also is making me think drag and drop is setup to match what your export settings are.

I will look at that this evening with regards to just exporting the stems.
That would be a work around that I could deal with.

A tech from NI got back to me.
They requested a who screen shot (video) of what was happening.
Just sent it off to them.
It will be interesting to see what they come back with.
