Is there a way to benefit from Native Instruments Native Map
as described here: http://youtu.be/QpX9dSCFxRI
together with a Push?
I understand that paging might be a stretch but at least the first 8 parameters should be able to automap to Push's 8 encoders?

I have no idea what you want to accomplish. If the instrument can be set to give out parameters they can be assigned manually, automatically according to settings or using UberMap settings. As that is given, I must assume you expect some further control here? I'm not aware what Native Map does that is unique, but I'd assume it might be something that can't be replicated easily. After all NI wants us to buy this hardware.Sten-V wrote:Is there a way to benefit from Native Instruments Native Map

You own Komplete 10? Unfortunately I only own Komplete 9, so no direct experience of this.
Make some music!
Re: Native Instruments Native Map integration for Ableton Push
I'm not sure about the exact mechanisms behind it, or even if I've understood this correctly but I think it works something like this.
When NI released the Kontrol S series keyboards they also released some sort of Komplete VST plugin wrapper that as far as I know only goes by the name of Komplete Kontrol Software. KKS was given away freely to Komplete 9 and 10 owners (regardless if you own the Kontrol S keyboard or not), possibly others as well.
KKS is the main VST to load up in you DAW when you want full functionality from the Kontrol S keyboard. From KKS you have relatively smooth access to all your Komplete instruments (which loads inside KKS (hence VST wrapping)) and patches, I recommend you try this since you're entitled to it by being a Komplete 9 owner. By this I mean that KKS is a valuable tool for all Komplete users (again hardware or not).
KKS also brought Native Map to the table. The idea is that regardless of what instrument/patch you load in KKS the most relevant parameters are mapped automagically to your (Kontrol S) hardware knobs. I think this has manually been worked out for each instrument/patch by the NI team.
The display and knob layout of Kontrol S doesn't differ too much to Push's, so my questions is simply if someone figured out how to get this feature working on a Push instead of Kontrol S.

That'd be great I've ben looking for this thing over the Internet but couldn't find anything worth a try.
