mixing multiple sample rates

Hi all,

Having replaced my old SBLive with an Audiophile, I was thinking of switching from 48khz to 44.1. Will I have any problems working with old Ableton projects that still use 48khz clips when I record new clips in 44.1?

Any other possible issues with the switch? Any compelling reason to either switch or not to? To be honest, the only reason I'm thinking of doing it is because all of the Reaktor ensembles default to 44.1, and it throws up an irritating dialog box when I open it in VST mode.
