The Kindle version of "Making Music" looks terrible

Post by maara » Wed Apr 29, 2015 4:22 pm

Guys just a word of causion - the Kindle version of "Making Music" looks absolutely disgusting when comparing with the iBooks version.
Looks like they simply converted the book to the Kindle format but didn't checked further and fixed so the book is really ugly :-(

Anyone else does have the same feeling??? Quite disappointing after the weeks of waiting.....

I just read the words....

I've been reading it on my Kindle Fire and my Windows phone with the Kindle app and I don't see any issues. Can you be more specific about what looks bad to you?

Its obvious when you have comparison with the iBooks version.
I read samples of both on the iPad trying to choose the one I will buy and the Kindle one is missing lots of formatting of the paragraphs, spaces after the bullets, paragraph numbers are sometimes after the first sentence etc. Also the iBooks version does have that fancy Ableton font embedded but the Kindle does not. Comparing side by side was a huge disappointment for me how cheaply is the Kindle version made/converted.
Sure - the content is the same but for the same money I am paying, I'd expect to get the same value and quality... :-(
That hurts because I am not a fan of iBooks due to Kindle's multi platform support......

I just bought the Kindle version of this for my Paperwhite, and it looks fine. (Of course the color pictures are in, uh, black and white).

It looks great on Kindle for PC... colors are fine, even at full screen.

(Hey, for $10 it is a no-brainer...)
