Change active zone of a control surface via MIDI

When I connect my launchpad to Ableton a red frame is shown in Ableton indicating the clips assigned to the launch pad buttons. I'm wondering if it is possible to change the position of this frame via MIDI? Or can it only be changed using LaunchPad's arrow buttons?

It can be changed via Midi using MaxforLive, it's a feature of our LaunchSync Pro device...

With regular MIDI only, no...
