No sound coming out of VST Trilian (AU works!)

I’m having a bit of a problem here.

I run Ableton live 9.2 on OSX Mavericks and I’ve updated trilian to the latest version but whenever I drop the vst version of the instrument onto a midi track in ableton, there’s no sound coming out! It does work with the audio unit version so that’s really weird. I’ve moved all my vst to another folder but it’s assigned in ableton and I’ve got no problem whatsoever with any of my other third party plugins. Do you know why this is? any idea?

I do want to use vst since I've been having issues of preset recall with audio units so far.

Do you have the same issue with 9.1?
In any case you should contact the plugin developer.

the issue is here as well with 9.1.10 32 bit but it works fine with 9..1.7 64bit!
I'm in touch with spectrasonics. I'm surprised though that nobody else got the issue...

I own Trillian from Spectrasonics and it works fine after I updated to 9.2
