What am i NOT doing.

Hi everyone.

I have used ableton for a good few years, but i have never made a single piece of music that I actually like. I've never asked for advice which is probably where I am really going wrong. I made this quick bit of music last night, with the sole purpose in mind that people could tell me what I am missing, doing wrong and what I need to do.

Its honestly garbage, but that's the point I suppose. This piece of music is indicative of the type of thing I normally do before giving up.

Open to advice from all on this! What can I do, what aren't i DOING?!

The only thing it sounds like to me that you're not doing is trimming the silence off the end of the file. Not sure what you're going for, so it's hard to offer any advice. I've certainly heard MUCH worse music that other people were proud of, so not sure what it is you're not happy with in your song.
