downtempo/trip hop loop...grooves...beats...

anyone doing downtempo/chill music? suggest a good set of beats and grooves to buy?

I used to make trip-hopish kinda stuff - but I never bought a sample CD. The whole genre is built around the hypnotic, grinding, grooving beats. If I were to buy them - what would my input be. Cutting the beats up?

I say make you're own beats. Get a good sampler and get started! :D

This is the plan I have for using Live that I finally bought less than 24 hrs ago. :)

I'm deep into Downtempo/NuJazz/Ambient and what I'm scouting for are VST plugins to tweak myself and make my own songs.
