Help: Getting APC40 pots to follow clip envelope

Hi there I'm using the APC40 to play live with Live 9 and have remotely mapped a cutoff to one of the pots. I mess around with it and then have a clip envelope to reset it to zero but the pot stays at the value I left it at and jumps the next time I touch it, is there a setting to get it to follow the clip back to zero?
