Sync My Hardware properly

Post by PAMPANOISE » Thu Feb 11, 2016 6:01 pm

Hi guys,

This is a little problem that I had since a long time and I never been able to fix it. I sync all my hardware via the Ms output option on the MIDI page. My audio page is Motu Asio 44100 rate. Driver error 0. 128 samples. Everything sync properly but When I start the recording there is always a little delay and then it sync. It's really annoying specially when you want to record in real time.Check picture here : http://postimg.org/image/m09651xeb/

Let me know thanks.

I've seen this problem with one of my Hardware heavy students,
he could not get it dialed in even after doing the Driver error compensation
which Live has a built-in tutorial in help view
just click Show All Build in lessons
then look under hardware set up.

but what he eventually did was get a Sync Gen which gave him perfect sync

some new possibilities may be out there with Link and a Link to Midi app on an ios device sending midi to hardware
I'm curious myself about that. I do not have a midi interface for my ios device so I can not really try it atm
