impossible access to file database: database disk I/O error

Post by HesitationMarksjagged » Thu Mar 10, 2016 10:30 am

Hi, i was playing my guitar in Live with the amp inside live and some effects. Then i decided to close the project because i wanted to do something else and Live crashed. I reopened it and then this message came: impossible access to file database: database disk I/O error. i press Ok and now Live doesn't have all the instruments and effects inside aside from 3rd party plugins. I don't know if others have this error but it's a bit of a pain in the butt since i use a lot of the Live built in stuff

Not unheard of, and the remedy helped here: Ableton Forum • View topic - Error message when loading up ableton, any fix?

And you really need patience with the database to rebuild.
