These old disco/funk vocal samples reworked for house/techno

Hi everybody,

For a few months or year now, I would like to add some kind of vocals to my tracks (mostly techno/house with some Detroit flavour) but I am facing a few problems.

I am speaking about those "woman screams" which are common in this style.

You can hear that kind of "scream" at 4:08

1. I absolutely don't know where this kind of samples come from. I am pretty sure it's sampled from some old disco or funky songs but I am listening to a lot of 'em and can't find anything similar.

2. I've some good experience in making techno tracks and have no problems with the drums, chords, synths, ... but I have no skill with the vocals and couldn't find anything online to learn these techniques. So if you guys have any tips or could tell any VST that works good with vocals, that would be really helpful !

While reading my post before posting it, I think it may look a bit hard to understand so feel free to tell me if I wasn't clear enough

These aren't funk/ disco samples mate, they're sampled from gospel records I would presume. Either that or he sampled it live.

Ah ? Didn't think about that. Thought there was this kind of sounds in disco too...
