I really really like the effect of Thom Yorke's voice in the Mark Pritchard track, Beautiful People.

How do you think it is done ? It sounds like some sort of pitch-shifted thing, but there's a grain in the voice, almost like a distortion. I suspect something like a grain delay on a vocal track layered on a other pitch-shifted one, but what am I missing ?
