How add realism to a line volume level (example: crescendo & decrescendo swells) by automating CC7 & CC11. In my case i was using a legato string sampler based instrument in live. When I applied CC11 (Expression) and CC7 (Volume) automation to my string midi clip via Midi Ctrl it had zero effect, unlike in logic pro X?
So if you need Ableton sampler in order to apply CC11 long notes expression, lets say value of 60 at the attack stage of a sustained 1/4 note, and then by the end release stage the automation curve reaches value of 118 lets say, how would you approach sampler in this situation?
