Re: external instrument midi feedback issue
This sounds like the MS20 signal is going through your speakers/headphones twice. if I am understanding this correctly, it sounds like "clicking off the 1" is you turning the track off, in which case you would of course not hear the MS20 play, nor hear the recording of it play. Can you verify that you're not sending the MS20 signal through your setup twice?

- when 1 is on and I play a note on ms20 i hear the note twice kinda like a delay effect but when I record and export it to wav and play it i hear it all fine .
- when 1 is off I can play a note on ms 20 and can here it through speaker fine . when I record and export it to wav. file and play the wav file there is no sound .
I took a screen shot here is link : https://i.imgsafe.org/3a1cdb6.png

Re: external instrument midi feedback issue
Delete all audio channels, or make sure they are all set to "no input" instead of the default "Ext in". This sounds like your external instrument is playing through at least two of your channels.

Re: external instrument midi feedback issue
when I change "audio from" to no input I hear sound coming out fine without any delay effect . but after i export there is no sound . https://i.imgsafe.org/d18d723.pngcontortrix wrote:Delete all audio channels, or make sure they are all set to "no input" instead of the default "Ext in". Re: external instrument midi feedback issue
In your soundcard software mixer.
Turn down the inputs, now live will control the input sound via the external instrument.
So what you hear is what you record.
You might hear the sound a fraction later, depending on your buffer settings and soundcard latency.

Re: external instrument midi feedback issue
You'll need to leave the "audio from" in your External Device alone. If you set that to "no input", you won't get audio from the external instrument. Change that back to whatever your MS20 is plugged into on your sound card, and you should be good.

Re: external instrument midi feedback issue
turn up the one you circled, and turn down the first four. The ones that are up.
Now you will have sound input only via daw.
Now live will control the inputs. 4 mono 2 stereo.
1 and 2 will probably be the main audio master, what is called daw in your setup...i think.
