BEETSEEKER - AUTOMATE SWITCHOVER

Post by gordenmack » Fri May 20, 2016 6:38 pm

Per the video, BeatSeeker can switch from following the beat back to fixed tempo via a foot switch. Cam I asssume that one could automate this switching? For example, a song would start with a fixed tempo to provide a start-up click, then at a defined hitpoint revert to following the drummer, and vice versa as designated.

yeah, the button is midi mappable so I think there is a way.
in the automation lane in arrangement, you should see
Beatseeker, and beatseeker button as one of the automatable parameters.
try writing in a change so it starts low and goes high.
make sure the orange arrow is not lit up. I must admit, there's something tricky about that, but the start bit seems to work.
