All-
I expect this is a very easy question, but I am running Live 32 bit (on Mac) and thinking of moving to 64 bit; in my list of plugins how do I tell which are 64 bit, which 32 bit?
I know that the 64 bit ones aren't recognised by Live 32 but otherwise- different icon? Or?
Thanks-
Rob.
How do I know which of my plugins are 32 bit and which 64?

You can have both the 32 and 64 but versions of Live installed. That might be one way to tell.
But for the vsts themselves, in pretty much every case for me I've had to install both the 32 and 64 bit version of that vst. So, you'd either have installed 64 bit versions in alternate directories, or have files labeled as 64 bit laying around.
If not, you may have either passed on installing the 64 bit version during install, or maybe maybe only downloaded the 32 bit version of a vst and not bothered to get the 64 bit one. Or in some cases, there is only one available or the other.
If you have a ton of vsts, it might be a great undertaking. If you have a few favorites, you can at least see if there is 64 bit vst support on the sites of the developers, or on vst listing sites like kvr.
