Trouble using Maschine MK1 with Live 9.6.2

I am trying to use my Maschine MK1 as a controller for Live 9.6.2, and the pads aren't working. Anybody else experience this? I installed everything correctly, have Maschine virtual input and output selected, and even used the new script for 9.6.. Any thoughts would be appreciated, thanks!

Did you read instructions for the script?

Your controller is set to the appropriate preset for controlling Live with that script?

I think the pads have multiple functions. Maybe pressing keyboard or something
