Traktor becomes non responsive when syncing with Ableton

Hello!

I am desperately trying to get Traktor and Ableton to sync with one another and it all seems to go fine but then after a short time Traktor freezes and I have to force quit. Cleared up a lot of space on my computer and that didn't help. I also have a Numark Mixtrack and an Axiom 61 plugged in so maybe that is the issue?
Any help greatly appreciated!

Did you try unplugging those to see if it helps?

I have unplugged the controllers and tried it yes, several times, and it does seem to work longer and more frequently that way, but still eventually will cause first Traktor and then sometimes also Ableton to become unresponsive.
