using Hybrid 3 (air tech) with ableton is a pain in the butt.
Using the MIDI CLIP for Preset change is not working: Patch (presets) change in random way, or , best case in ascending way. This mean
From 4 MIDI clips, assigned with 1: bank 1 , program 1 , 2: bank 1 prog 2 , 3: Bank 1 prog 3 and so on,HYbrid will play a patch in ascending way and never play the same preset.
this way i normally create ,with all other VSt Synth, loops with the assigned and wished BANK and Program.and all works fine
I tried all possible way with hybrid 3 , nothing is working properly.
So now, I created a sidechain with a instrument rack. Problem with this: every chain is loading a session of the VST and is using a lot of ressources, while a preset change, would load only one session of the VST.
beside the fact of ressource hungry VST , i still have to change manually the chain to be able to play the preset on 1 - 2 - 3 or 4 of the chain. assigned to my AKAI controller , its working fine, BUT, while playing Guitar, its a pain
is there a way to get the chain changing automaticly ?
Of course the best would be a working automation with 4 clips (or more) and a preset change.
If someone got a solution on that, thanks in advance for posting.
