Separate grid line color from surface color

I'm using the Disco skin and I really like it with one exception. I can't see the grid lines in a midi clip for example. I wanted to change the grid line color to yellow to clearly differentiate it from the background, but you've tied the grid lines in with a bunch of other stuff so a bunch of other stuff turns yellow also which looks horrible. Please separate the grid line color from everything else.
