EIE Pro starting to go

Having some strange static when I use soundcard on a USB3 dongle and a few times on the laptop without it. Thinking about getting something different. What are you all using these days?

What's your budget? Soundcards can run from $30 to $3000 these days, helps to know what you want to spend.

Couple hundred. Haven't bought a new one in probably 4 years. So just wondering what's decent for a small studio. Nothing with a ton of ins and outs. Just enough to do some minor recording and plug my monitors into via quarter inch or xlr.
