I'm putting together my band's first ever live set. I've used the 'Consolidate Time to New Scene' function to split my arrangement up into separate scenes in Session View - This is a great function as all automation is captured within each clip.
The problem with this function is that once the clips are in Session View you cannot edit the midi notes. I would like to delete all midi notes on the synth parts but keep the automation envelopes - that way, we can play our synths without having to worry about automation.
Our tracks are quite automation heavy - I really don't want to have to go recreate all automation within dummy clips.
Does anyone know of a better way to approach this?

In the clip view click the Show/Hide Envelopes Box that you see in the bottom right here:Ste_clectic wrote: The problem with this function is that once the clips are in Session View you cannot edit the midi notes.

Not so hard to delete notes now, is it?
