Not rendering automation

Post by nomadhang » Mon Jan 02, 2017 9:51 pm

When I render a track, after rendering I notice the left facing arrow button is selected. This is the button that alerts you that automation is turned off globally. I tracked down a Soundtoys plugin that had automation on the wet/dry and deleted the automation then the track rendered correctly. Is this a known issue? Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? I am now experiencing this across several tracks and I am not sure it is limited to only the Sountoys plugin mentioned earlier. Any info, tips, help is appreciated.

Sometimes if you have midi hardware connected it can accidentally nudge a parameter, causing the automation to go offline.

Having the same issue. I’ve just been printing it to another audio track when I need to bounce, but it would be really nice to know what’s going on.

Other commenter mentioned Midi hardware. I’m hooked up to several synths and I noticed that automation on SoundToys on my Drum Bus was sending CC’s to a hardware synth. I disabled to input and got around it, but I don’t really understand what path that automation took to get there.
