Multiple Audio In

Post by Caleb Britt » Sat Jan 07, 2017 7:47 am

Curious how to get two audio tracks that have two different Audio Ins going to them. I am using the ASIO4ALL software so not sure what to do. I have a Rocksmith Real Tone cable that allows me to connect my guitar and then an XLR to usb for a mic. Thanks for the Help!

Hey Caleb! Welcome to the forum! To use both inputs, you will need to go to ASIO4ALL control panel. You can access this from Live's Preferences / Audio and click the Hardware Setup button. You will probably see at least 3 or more inputs in ASIO4ALL: the internal soundcard (this could be mono or stereo depending on your system), RockSmith real tone and XLR USB. Keep it simple by just enabling the RockSmith and XLR inputs. Close ASIO4ALL and go back to Live's Preferences / Audio, under Channel Configuration, click the Input Config button and enable everything. Now, create two audio tracks and set the input accordingly. Hope this helps!
