Let's make sampling awesome! Drum Rack on steroids.

Hey!

I have this idea, that would make using Drum Rack with Push much nicer, more efficient and simpler .

Adding an audio input and recording functionality to the Drum Rack would drastically simplify the way the sampling works – it would allow to sample straight into the Drum Rack without the need to create separate audio track, record, and only then convert.

It would also make it easier to add subsequent recordings to the different pads without the need to navigate outside of the Drum Rack on the Push.

Pressing record on the Push or in the software would create a new simpler capturing the sound until stopped.

I like your suggestion. I think it's a good addition to the suggestion of recording directly into Simpler/Sampler:
