M-AUDIO Axiom AIR 49 for ableton ¿good choice?

I would appreciate some feedback on this, please

I spotted a used M-AUDIO Axiom AIR 49 for 120EURO.



But I am not sure that Hypercontrol technology works with Ableton Live 9... the m-audio website has not much info about it

Anyone here is using this MIDI controller? is it a good choice for managing Ableton and its plugins?

I can't really say anything about Axiom, but generally my view on M-Audio quality these days is very low. The latest drivers for Axiom Air seem to be from 2014. Lack of updates is not a good sign.

I also wouldn't trust M-Audio gear much theses days.
However, I have an Axiom 49 2nd Gen with Direct Link, and it works great. But the manual is a bit of a headache and there's not much info around.

I had an Edirol before and the keyboard failed after a year.

Well I finally I bought the air49 for 200 euro I guess it was a bargain. I hope I will not regret when I plug it

If only some manufacturer launched a fancy keyboard controller with motorized faders... I never understood why that didn't happened yet.

do you mean axiom pro? Didn't those use the Hypercontrol thing? I have read good reviews of Pro's, though.
