Connecting SIMPLER with live Voice Input

Post by RufusDrums » Tue Mar 07, 2017 6:24 pm

Hi guys!
I loaded a sample in to SIMPLER which I now normally play through my MIDI keyboard.
Is there a way of triggering the Sample with the live Mic Input immediatly? And is there even the chance, that MAX can play the the Sample in the circa range of the voice? Like detecting the Hz of the voice input and then trigger the equivalent from Simpler?
Even if thats not possible - to keep the whole thing in a save latency time: is there a max plugin that can use the MIC Input for a trigger signal for my SIMPLER Sample?
Thanks for your help everyone! :)
regards,
Rufus!

SO the M4L plugin I'm looking for, has to do a variety of different things:
1. analyse the audio that comes in to determine a MidiNote (whether it is C4 or A1 -> mainly the melodyne function :D )
2. use the analyzed MidiNote to trigger Simpler with that.

I wanna use direct live Voice Input, no recorded stuff, so it has to work with a relative low latency.
I tried PEAKS & NOTES from here: http://4live.me/search/peaks+notes but that enables SIMPLER just to play the same note over and over again and no different notes.
But the idea is to let the voice play SIMPLER just like i would hit notes on a keyboard.

Any help is hardly welcome. :)
Thanks to everybody!
regards,
Rufus
