saw this on kvr audio. freesound project.....great samples for free from musicians like you and me....
dont have the url, but just do a search for freesound project

maybe ableton can add it as a link... i think it cuold be useful to most people here. the only rule for the samples if you use them is to give credit to the creator

this is site is absolutely uber-ta-top. The Remix! tree feature is pure genius:
