hi all,
got a focusrite scarlett 18i8 yesterday and it worked flawlessly. today i plug it in, set it as the input in preferences, and then BOOM... audio switches to red "OFF" sign.
each time i try to activate the scarlett interface it turns on for a second or two then goes gray and disables all my audio. actually this same kind of thing has also has happened sporadically with some other interfaces. any idea what's going on/how to fix? thank yous!
