working with a 4 and a half bar phrase

Managed to create a 4 and a half bar phrase on 5 tracks which loop fine. However when i press button on right to move on to next set of tracks it insists on playing right to the end of the bar before switching . I want it to switch mid bar. Any bright ideas?

Maybe change global quantization to 1/2

Sorted it by changing the time signature to 2/4 throughout
