Ableton loses connection from BSP

Ableton keeps losing the MIDI connection from my Beatstep Pro. It was all working fine until recently when I upgraded to the new BSP firmware but I'm pretty certain that the problem is not coming from the Beatstep Pro as it is also connected to Resolume which is running on the same machine as Ableton and there's no problem there. Ableton just stops and a pop-up appears saying that it has lost the MIDI clock connection although it appears to stop receiving everything from the BSP, not just clock. Sometimes after the pop-up Ableton also crashes.


Any suggestions on how to fix or trouble shoot?

Who of the two is slave? I guess Ableton. Try it the other way round to see what that does. Are you using a USB hub between the Beatstep and your computer? If so, try it without the hub.
