Emulating 303 "Slide" function in clip controls?

Any idea how I would do this? Been playing with the 303 app on my android and loving the slide function. Would like to implement it in Monark but the problem seems to be that Glide is either always on, legato, or always off. In legato I've programmed a midi clip with overlapping notes but Monark just ignores the overlapped note, it's not gliding. Any idea how I would do this?
I don't want glide all the time, just between two notes in the clip, which you can do on the 303 by putting a "Slide" on the first of the two notes.
