An option to not launch a clip by launching a scene
An option to not launch a clip by launching a scene
An option to choose if a clip would be triggered by a scene or only directly. This option could be called "launch clip on scene" and be placed in the drop down menu on right/cmd-clicking clips.
This feature would be very useful for a live performance, so that on a controller such as Launchpad or Push you could place backtracks and one shots on the same scenes, triggering only some of the clips when launching a scene

Re: An option to not launch a clip by launching a scene
Good idea!
Could also be like this:
"What we need is a simple button on each clip (or a drop down menu by right click, although one should be able to do this in real time) that is a simple "Play clip on scene launch (yes/no)". This would allow us (e.g.) to dedicate specific tracks to rhythm, fills, chord change melodies (for bass and/or melodies), etc.
It is a VERY easy thing to do (a boolean and a few program mods, and a change in icon to indicate whether the clip launches or not - maybe reverse the arrow?); immediately after launch, the clip would return to its current function."
I quote from Buleriachk viewtopic.php?t=190534
Any workaround yet?

A simple and effective workaround with just as little work would be utilizing the clip activator switches.sissyfus wrote: ↑Thu Nov 09, 2017 8:30 pmAn option to choose if a clip would be triggered by a scene or only directly. Didn’t see how old this thread was, but since you relied somewhat recently, perhaps read my comment above incase it helps.Avelon wrote: ↑Sat Oct 08, 2022 10:35 pmGood idea!
