Beta - Midi chase and chain selector

With midi chase (can play play instrument after beginning of midi note) I guess this will allow some nice results with instrument rack and chain selector. Has anyone verified in 10 beta if moving chain selector in middle of midi note will allow the instrument to play from that point?

chase will e.g. pickup a note halfway through, but it requires a retrig (via stop>play or scrubbing).
so the behaviour of instrument chains is unchanged – you still need to retrig for the next chain to play.
