Edit Midi Envelopes while in multi edit mode

It's wonderful that we can finally edit multiple midi tracks at once. But if I'm editing a Midi track in multi mode, why is the envelope function removed? What if I want to edit pitch bends on one track, while still viewing the midi notes from another track? I don't understand why they'd removed the envelope function in these situations.
