Dual Monitor Support

Post by subterFUSE » Sun Jul 10, 2005 6:24 pm

Can Live be used with dual monitors?

If so, is it possible to set Session View on one screen, and Arrangement View on another?

Or do I need to put this over on the feature wishlist?

no, you've gotta put that on the wishlist, that's a very cool idea though!

Why do you want Plasma?

They are not especially good for computer use. They get bad burn-in.
You're supposed to use LCD with computers, to prevent burn-in.

Plasma TVs are a fad. People just thought they were good because they were expensive. But they really are not any better than regular HDTV sets (tube or projection).

I think it's safe to say that both Project5 and Plasma TVs are very bad ideas.

24 inches! 8O and great specs and price too.

get two of those and your set for life haha

oh and they have those same ones in a smaller size (20.1 inches) but the price is way better.

A newbie meter in Live would be really cool.

Funnily enough I put this in the wishlist today, and I hadn't seen your first which pre-dates mine. One of the problems with using 2 PCs to monitor the forum, one will always mark threads as new when you have already read them on the other, so I ignore that forum feature - my bad.

Anyway, it's in there, with my suggestions on how I would like to use it,. If you want it, put your name to it. Might get into the scope for Live 6....
