Note and velocity to mapped ableton parameter

Post by m_k » Wed Mar 14, 2018 6:45 am

I would like to create a max for live device, where you get note or velocity from midi and scale it to a mapped parameter so it controls the automation in ableton.
I have looked into the LFO device to see how i can do the mapping, but i cant really understand how its done

I don't have time now, but check an abstraction called "MapButton". The core of the functionality lies here.
MacBook Pro 13" Retina i7 2.8 GHz OS 10.13, L10.0.1, M4L.
MacStudio M1Max 32Go OS 12.3.1

Packs > Max for Live Essentials > Max Midi Effect > Controll Devices MIDI > Expression Control.amxd
copy the text, open Live > drag in empty M4L device > open Max editor > paste > save M4L device
