Over the past couple days I've had this inspiration for a piece. From what I can tell as I try to pad this idea is that there's lots of arpeggio. I've been breaking this piece down on paper as much as possible. Drums, tones, etc. and arp stages/patterns are integral, in and out.
Now I'm pretty darn new to this. I've got the sound in my head, and I need control of fading, accents, maybe the possible introduction of sounds or slicing in rhythm on top of (within) the channel.
I love Ableton Live, what can or should I look into for use for arpeggio ease/control? I would love to start pouring concrete on this one but haven't worked with beat sequencing tools much. If anybody can tell me where I might look for utilizing this aspect of sounds creation I'd really appreciate it.
