I realise this probably has a very simple solution either way, but in the orchestral packs most instruments have a 'Half Step Trill' as a sampler option.
Is it possible to change this to a whole step trill?

That I know of these are all based on actual samples of half-step trills... I suppose you could cheat one of the other standard playing samples such as the legato packs and add some sort of pitch LFO to alternate the pitch to a trill-like setting and try to find the sweet spot of where a whole step would be, but this would likely sound very electronic and unnatural as I'd imagine. Sorry I can't be of any further help, maybe someone knows of a better workaround! Good luck.

Thanks @jwing. Damn, I was hoping to avoid trying that kind of thing. Thanks for the response though, it's useful just to confirm my deepest darkest fears about Ableton Orchestral trills so I can find a solution elsewhere
