My friend was trying to reduce my latency & he changed the sample rate around. We put it back, but I have had problems since then. My set plays OK until something goes wrong...the connection fails between Ableton and my Launchpad. Then when I play the clips, they play back at reduced pitch & speed.
After reinstalling everything & so forth, I went into audio prefs. There was a line saying "default SR and pitch conversion." I changed it from "high quality" to "normal". When I opened the set, the clips sounded OK, but I will have to test it a whole lot more to determine if this is the problem. I can't have this happening during a performance.
I have a tech support request in, but I wonder if anyone here can offer insight.
