Hello there! I am a songwriter/producer and thinking about purchasing the Boss VE-20 for home studio use.
I use Ableton Live 9 and want to use the VE-20 as my main vocal editor going forward.
Does anyone know how I would set up the VE-20 up on Ableton live 9?
I can't seem to find any information with about the VE-20 and Ableton setup.
And also does the Boss VE-20 work well for a home studio setup?
Really wanting to create more diversity and interest with my vocals with it.
Thank you!!!
Alex

No MIDI on the VE20, so just a matter connecting a mic to the VE20, and running the VE20 outputs to your soundcard/audio interface inputs. You can record audio into ableton, run effects within ableton on the audio (live also), and that's about it.

Thank you so much for getting back to me and replying with this information!
Okay thats great + very straight forward - hopefully there wont be too much latency.
So the BOSS VE-20 will deffo work well using it to record vocals? Cuz Ive only read that its good for live performances, haven't read anywhere that it can be used seriously in the studio?
Just want to be sure before buying.
Thanks again!
